Our designated driver-guide reports to your hotel for the start of the safari tour to Masai Mara. Enjoy a picturesque drive in a private and comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser, descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's prominent game reserve. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the largest valley in the world while you stop for some time at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint on the way. The valley is said to be running from Lebanon in Asia to Mozambique in Africa. Arrive in time at your camp for lunch and then leave for an afternoon game drive where you will witness the magnificent wildlife in the park and spot animals ranging from the big cats such as lion, cheetah and leopard to rhino, elephant and wildebeest. After the game drive, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Road Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve:
You will be transferred from your hotel to Wilson Airport for your outbound flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, our driver-guide will transfer you to the camp, where you will check-in and enjoy a hot lunch before leaving for your afternoon game drive.
Have an early morning breakfast at the camp and then depart to enjoy a full-day game drive with a visit to the Mara River. Witness the giant crocodile as they bask in the sun, and alongside them, find hippos as they yawn their way up to the surface of the sparkling water. Enjoy a nice picnic lunch while on the banks of the beautiful Mara River or under the shade of the iconic acacia trees. During the great wildebeest migration, herds of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River to seek greener pasture lands, turning this river into a valley of death. This scene is known as the 8th wonder of the world and happens yearly between July and October. After the game drive, return to your camp for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
At the break of dawn, leave for an early morning concluding safari game drive in Masai Mara and enjoy the spectacular landscapes that house an abundance of wildlife. Return to your camp after the game drive for a relaxed breakfast and road transfer to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel in Nairobi or transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
